Minecraft Halloween Costumes

If you have a child under the age of fifteen, chances are that he, or she, has already started asking you to be on the look out for any new Minecraft Halloween costumes.

Last season, we were introduced to two pretty sweet costume masks; the sensational Steve costume and the crazy cool Creeper costume. This year, we are lucky enough to be able to find an officially licensed Enderman costume as well. Only time will tell if any more will hit the shelves before Halloween.

My guess is that in the weeks, and months, to come we will see a number of really fun outfits based on this ultra addicting pixelated powerhouse. Until then, here are a few of our personal favorites.

Minecraft Creeper Costume

I have never met a kid that did not want to pretend to be the bad guy.

This, of course, should come as no surprise since we expect our kids to 'be good' on a daily basis. Halloween provides them the perfect opportunity to act crazy and pretend to be something completely different.

If you were in the market for one of these masks last year, then you already know how popular they were. Despite having a retail price of more than $50, these bad boys sold out as fast as the became available. This year, we are extremely fortunate that the price has come way down. You can, in fact grab any of the marvelous Minecraft costume heads for less than $25.

Minecraft Steve Costume

Steve is the main character of Minecraft. Anyone wanting to play the game MUST play as Steve.

As such, this fact alone makes the Steve costume one of the more popular outfit ideas of the year. It would not, however, surprise me to learn that your child is wearing this mask all year round.

One of the funniest pictures I have seen was of a ten year boy playing Minecraft with his dad while wearing a Steve head.

How awesome is that!

Minecraft Enderman Costume

New for 2013 is this absolutely fantastic Enderman costume.

Last season, my son practically begged me for a Minecraft costume that was different from the typical Steve or Creeper heads that were currently available.

I even considered making him something different until I realized how much time and effort would be involved; and it would probably look terrible to boot.

Fortunately, this season, kids won't have to beg their parents for something different. The Enderman costume is sure to satisfy their constantly changed desires perfectly!
